Minister for Finance and Services Dominic Perrottet today officially opened the Service NSW one-stop-shop in Grafton, congratulating the team on serving more than 25,000 customers since February 2015, while maintaining a customer satisfaction rating of 99 per cent.
“The team here in Grafton should be proud of what is a truly impressive achievement in under six months,” Minister Perrottet said.
The Minister joined Member for Clarence Chris Gulaptis for a tour of the service centre, where customers now have access to more than 800 NSW government transactions under one roof, including driver licences, vehicle registrations, Seniors Card applications, owner builder permits and more.
“This government is determined to make transacting with government as convenient as possible, and to complement our ServiceNSW one-stop shops, we are also putting even more transactions online,” Minister Perrottet said.
Mr Gulaptis described the Service NSW centre at Grafton as an exciting initiative for residents and businesses in the Northern Rivers region.
“Carrying out multiple transactions in one place saves everyone time and money,” Mr Gulaptis said.
“The Centre’s manager is Peggy Baynham, who originally hails from the Northern Rivers region. She and the Service NSW team have had a fantastic first six months, and I know they will continue to provide excellent service to the residents and businesses of Grafton and the wider region.”
Grafton’s Service NSW Centre is located at 3 King Street Grafton (the former motor registry site) and opened in February, 2015. It offers extended hours from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 12pm Saturdays.
